    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     EWillies1961 offers his condolences to those involved in the fatal shooting at a Batman movie premier in Aurora, Colorado. He says there should be more safeguards to prevent gun-related tragedies from happening. "As a society we must start personalizing all these incidences. It can happen to any one of us. If we stop thinking that it will only occur to others, we would start working seriously for solutions."

    We can purchase guns with less restrictions than drinking or voting. I continue to fail to see the need for the “weaponization” of the American citizenry.

    The reality is I do not only fear for the average American but for highly visible politicians. When armed citizens start to find out that they have been had by much of our policies it will likely get worse.
