Dark Night For The Dark Knight Rises
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
This film review is dedicated to the shooting victims tonight at a midnight showing of 'The Dark Knight Rises' in Aurora, Colorado. God bless their souls...
This is the first summer film in some time that will garner some Oscars, with a nomination for best film of the year - and a possible win. It is that good...
Christian Bale plays Bruce Wayne again, he is now a recluse, with both his ego and his body battered with injuries.
Batman is forced out of retirement after a new bad guy emerges from the underground, a thug by the name of Bane (What an acting job by Tom Hardy!).
Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) is Batman's foe and friend, and dare we say Bruce's potential love interest. She too is perfect in the role.
A Gotham Cop turns out to be the future Robin, and the score by Hans Zimmer was perfect. Director Christopher Nolan has simply created a comic book masterpeice.
And this is not your kid's Batmobile. It's part supercharged motorcycle, airplane, and stealth fighter bomber. I need this car!
Wow, what a film. This will please the comic book fans - and all action fans.
