Colorado movie theater shooting |
Demand to President Obama !
We live in a time where the offended, shunned, bullied and deranged seek out historical incidents and study acts of terrorism to enact revenge upon society in the most cowardly way. There is no way to predict the actions of those who would do US harm, or to determine if but a word will set off an individual beset by hardships and life’s circumstance that take some people over the brink and to a place where they harm innocents when those whom offended them cannot be reached.
I call on President Obama and Congress to enact support measures for law enforcement to begin a permanent program that will place police officers at community gatherings to protect our citizens from these incidents and give the people a sense of safety where they cannot defend themselves.
I have no desire to see the Second Amendment distorted by these incidents, and with that, I demand accountability from weapon and ordinance providers to submit to a proposed BATF clearinghouse. Any weapon and ammunition purchases that exceed a set minimum, and for said agency to begin a psychological profile on individuals or organizations that exceed this minimum, but in a venue that does not violate a citizens Constitutional rights.
It is time to stop reacting and start preventive measures to protect the people where state and local laws prevent citizens from defending themselves. We can serve the public trust if we but dig deeper and work harder for solutions.
My prayers go out to the victims in the Colorado shooting and I demand that Warner Bros. donate to those victims and their families. A minimum amount of $500,000.00 per victim. God bless John W Hargis Sr former 2010 candidate U.S.Congress CD-3/I
