CNN PRODUCER NOTE     goldandnoble attended a candlelight vigil and memorial that was held outside the Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, where 12 people were killed and dozens injured during the shooting. While at the memorial, he was touched by the community that came out to support the victims. 'A girl who had been injured walked over in crutches as her friend helped her cross the street. A lot of residents were there to pay their respects. Kids and their parents, drivers pulled over and came to pay their respects,' he says. The movie theater is just down the street from where he lives. 'It was the first movie theater I went to when I moved to Colorado from Ghana ... It hits very close to home. My heart goes out to the victims and family,' he says.
