    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Thanks her daighter for holding down the fort and taking care of the babies. "She definitely has to be the navy wife, go to school, and take care of the children." As for Michael, "We are very very proud of him. We love him very much. We don't get to see him as much as we like to, but they are not too far away."

    I am an Air Force veteran & would like to send a special salute to my son-in-law, Michael Shigley who is an E-5 Electricians Mate stationed in Charleston, SC. Recently he has had to spend time in Norfolk, VA leaving our daughter Michelle & 2 granddaughters Rachel, age 4 & Rebekah, 11 months for weeks at a time - also a special salute to my daughter Michelle for holding down the fort @ home and being supermom! Michael, we are so proud of your service and all you have achieved so far! You are an awesome husband & father, thanks for taking such good care of our girls! We love you very much! Ann & David Knopp
