    Super Typhoon Vicente

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter hkgspotter1, an English teacher living in Tseung Kwan O, eastern Hong Kong, snapped these images overnight and on Tuesday morning as Typhoon Vicente swept across the region. "It's done a lot more damage, with more trees down, than I can remember before," he said. "Hundreds of trees around me are down and the rain was a lot heavier." Although his building is designed to handle such storms, typhoon rain still managed to seep through his air conditioner, leading to a sleepless night as he mopped up water. However, the winds have since subsided and people were able to return to work the following morning, he said.

Here are some photos I took in Tseung Kwan O (Eastern, Hong Kong) of the effects from Super Typhoon Vicente that hit Hong Kong last night.
