Typhoon Vicente hits Shenzhen City China

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter cfoulger captured the aftermath of Typhoon Vicente near his home in Shenzhen City, China. "It was the biggest typhoon I have experienced and it was very powerful," he said. "I returned to my apartment late on Monday night and that's when the storm was the strongest. The sound of the wind and the driving rain was incredible as I am staying in a 24th floor apartment. I came back to a leaking balcony roof and a very scared kitten." The clean up, however, has already begun, with most fallen trees typically removed within the day.
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

Typhoon Vicente was at it's strongest just after midnight local time Shenzhen city in China. heavy winds and driving rain made conditions hazardous to be outside. The main danger is debris falling from apartment balconies and from building under construction.
The next morning the extent of the damage could be seen with many smaller trees blown over and other minor damage.
Having seen a few typhoons in my time in China I can surely say this was the biggest.
