Fargo Forum blasted for rejecting same-sex marriage ads

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     giapoo4 says she shared this iReport because she believes in equality for same-sex couples and "simply wanted to help share the story of two people in love." The editor of the Fargo Forum met with the couple Tuesday and said on its Facebook page that it was reviewing the policy.

Yesterday, my friend Allison Johnson received a response from the Fargo Forum (the largest new-source in North Dakota) rejecting her request for an ad in the celebrations segment of the paper announcing her marriage to her partner, Kelsey Smith.

The attached screen-shot went viral in a matter of minutes, garnering attention from across the state, country and world. The response online has been overwhelmingly in their favor. Further coverage of the story via CNN would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me for more information.
