Gun ownership in America |
Why I own firearms
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
When I was in highschool, my school had a rifle range inside the school for Olympic style target shooting, then I joined the Marine Corps and used a dozen other firearms, all the long taught strict firearm saftey rules which are incredibally important to firearm owners, or atleast should be.
I never "flash" my firearms around, I never play with them because they're not toys. They are tools, they serve a purpose, both good and bad, but they serve a purpose. I grew up in Alaska were to be honest, firearms are tools, they litterly do put food on the table for many of the people who live there.
I would never want to give up my firearms, they are mine, I am responsible with them, and I would love to have a larger collection of historical firearms.
