    President of Ghana Dies

    Officials reported this afternoon about the unexpected passing away of the President of the Republic of Ghana.

     

    Professor John Evans Atta-Mills passed away at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra,Ghana on 24th July, 2012.

     

    There has however not been any official statement regarding the cause of death.

     

    Ghana has lost a true son.. May his soul rest in perfect peace!

     

    In our local Ashanti dialect we say "Damirifa Due" to Ghana and the bereaved family.
