The Charge of Racial Profiling Will not Bring Redress for the Atrocities of Government!
"I didn't get very far Thursday at *City Hall in Inglewood*, the town whose public officials keep filling the pages of this newspaper, often without saying a word. *Mayor Roosevelt Dorn*, or someone at his house, hung up the phone when one of my colleagues called the other day to ask about a *string of fatal shootings involving officers from the city's Police Department*. Of course, a low profile may be the best move for the mayor, given his own troubles. Dorn has pleaded not guilty to charges of conflict of interest and misappropriation of $500,000 in public funds, money that came from a below-market loan program he had voted in favor of. Before visiting the mayor's office Thursday, I stopped by the Police Department and tried to get a few words out of *Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks*. I knew it was a long shot going in. *She seemed to have developed lockjaw about the officer-involved shootings*, which have *left four people dead in four months*. Seabrooks couldn't yet discuss those cases, I was told by Lt. Michael McBride, a guy I've dealt with before and liked. Why not? Investigations and inquiries are still underway, said McBride, and there are "personnel issues" to consider, among other things. What's the word I'm looking for? Oh, yeah. Hogwash" by *Steve Lopez.................................and then you have Senator * Barack Obamawho when questioned or petitioned by law abiding citizens who seek redress and reform for the unwarranted and illegal acts of police officers that result in the death of innocent Black men, or others, Barack Obama says, "Listen, I was a civil rights lawyer," Obama said. "I passed the first racial profiling legislation in Illinois. I passed some of the toughest death penalty reform legislation in Illinois. That doesn't mean I am always going to satisfy the way you want these issues framed... which gives you the option of voting for somebody else, it gives you the option of running for office yourself, those are all options . But the one thing I think is important is, that we are respectful towards each other." .............*and if you don't accept his racial profiling bill, then you should vote for someone else, or run for office yourself. ......a truly disrespectful and unbecoming of a competent elected official response* from Senator Barack "*the Magic Negro*" Obama addressed to the hecklers who have the right to petition any elected official for redress for the illegal acts of government, that result in the wrongful or illegal death of the innocent at the hands of rogue police officers. .....furthermore, it remains to be seen if Senator Barack Obama is qualified to provide legal advice to Diop Olugbala and his comrades, since Obama was not qualified to be a Constitutional Law Professor at the University of Chicago , and it remains to be seen if Senator Barack Obama has any real world tort based law practice experience. *.......on another note, if you need comprehensive sex education for your kindergartner, to which learning about sex must be more important than learning how to read, then vote for Barack Obama.
