    The TEA Party Factor

I am trying to imagine what will future history books say about this period of our political struggles. Surely the TEA Party would be discussed in detail.

My neighbors and myself have been approached by individuals who tried to recruit us for the TEA Party. When my friend refused, this lady asked, don’t you want smaller government? “No, if anything, we need bigger government.” She dropped her like a hot potato. Then she (the recruiter) turned to me and told me that they (the TEA party) start their meetings with a prayer. That they are very good people, God-fearing patriots.

It was at this point that I told the lady what I think about the TEA Party and its members and sympathizers. We don’t talk any more. I see her from time to time at the swimming pool, where she continues to talk to anyone who listens. I asked a few if she managed to recruit them. I heard from some who actually went to a meeting, who are Republicans and they were appalled, mind you.

Think of the more visible TEA Party figures: Michelle Bachmann, Scott Walker, Paul Ryan, Sarah Palin, Marco Rubio &co. These people recite the same mantra, pose as patriotic protectors of the Constitution and God-fearing protectors of Christian values. They seem to have mastered the buzzwords and the sound-bites of the Extreme Right and make use of them relentlessly.

The strategy is to convince their victims (because ultimately that’s what they are) that there is immense danger building up to take away their freedom, to desecrate the Constitution, to erase their cherished values, to take God out of everything and to take their guns. Yeah! It is all invented. The brainwashers have a lot of money and many tools and venues. Their money comes from America’s biggest enemies, but they don’t know that. More over in reality, much of it comes from what was ripped off from us, Americans, by “Wall Street”.

When the elite of the TEA Party reaches power, they will no longer need the brainwashed, simple people for further action and I assure you, they will drop them and bunch them into the 99%. So the huge chain-smoking biker guy packing “heat” and sticking flags into every orifice and on his bike, will have to go back and do whatever he was doing before…

But back to what the history books might say about this aberration, the TEA Party. Here is the definition I offer (at no cost): Subversive group operating in plain sight to overthrow the government under the pretext of trimming it and fixing it.

It is becoming obvious that Mr. Mitt Romney at some point started to recite the mantra of that party and clearly started to use their strategy. So now Mr. Romney much like a robot controlled remotely, builds up the present administration as “public enemy #1”. He has called Mr. Obama an “assassin” and “terrorist” already. Who knows, he might one day say, he is the Anti-Christ, or the Devil himself. Yet if you listen to the two men speak, Mr. Obama sounds sincere and straight-forward, Mr. Romney is forcing himself to appear sincere, but he looks artificial and robot-like. I think he does not believe the things that come out of his mouth at all. His body language has a stiffness about it that gives away the internal struggle as he repeatedly contradicts himself and as he spews lies. It is stressful to watch. That is so sad.

If somehow enough people are brainwashed into voting in this robot-like guy, it will be the drama of the Manchurian Candidate (movie) only with a different ending.

    Good luck, America.
