I will never forget this moment. It was a long weekend so my best friend and I took the bus down to Bannerghatta National Park to get away from the city for a few hours. As it was routine, we bought a ticket for a jungle safari. Initially, we looked out of the window and saw nothing except a vast, green landscape. The sun shone bright, and now and then, we caught sight of spotted deer. For twenty minutes, we drove on, slowly winding our way into the wilderness. Then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere the van stopped. Curious, we looked out and realised there were a bunch of bears enjoying the sun. Minutes later, the bears came by our windows hoping we'd throw some food over (which we didn't though it was tempting) but the scene brought a smile to our faces. If there were lessons to be learnt on enjoying great outdoors on a weekend, I'd say 'learn from a bear!'
