    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Standing on the balcony of his apartment in Arizona, raschaz says dust storms come through fairly often, but that this one was more impressive than most. "As it approached, the building started disappearing as they were engulfed by the haboob. As it got closer, it started getting windier and you could smell the dust in the air, " he says. "We finally had to move inside as the storm passed through. The winds got very strong and the visibility was low for several minutes as the storm passed. A nice rain came through right afterwards to wash away the thick layer of dust on everything."

    This was a dust storm from Saturday, July 21st in Phoenix.
