Paralympic Guides Medal First Time - 2012 Olympics

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter ChrisMorrow managed to capture a few minutes with runner Jeremy Avery, who guides Paralympian runner Josiah Jamison in his 100m sprint. Jamison won gold in Beijing in the 2008 Olympics and is hoping to do the same this year in London. His guide will also win a medal if Jamison crosses first over the finish line - the first time this has been done in the Paralympics.
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

For the first time in Paralympic history, guides medal with the athlete. Meet Paralympic guide Jeremy Avery. He runs with Paralympic athlete Josiah Jamison and hopes to repeat the gold won at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

Check out my interview with Jeremy at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center in Southern California during one of his last training days before he headed to London 2012 Olympics / Paralympics.
