    Living in small spaces

    Tiny Home Dome

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jeffrey001 says it's possible to live large in a small space. "I think small spaces give you a sense of freedom. The main advantage for me is that it reconnects us with the outside world," he says. "The space is just big enough for a bed, desk and small stove, and is tall enough to stand in the middle.
    - Anika3, CNN iReport producer

I designed and built this 75sq ft tiny home dome.

This project started with the idea, that if we reduce the amount of space we live in, we are forced to utilise outside space more.
So by reducing the size of the house you sleep in, you can increase the size of the space you live in!

I designed a small structure upon this idea, just containing a bed, desk, wood stove and a small amount of storage.

The dome is constructed from reclaimed materials and is insulated with a mix of sheep wool and wood chips dipped in clay.
