    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     A high octane, and extremely muddy, four wheel drive offroad vehicle competition in New Plymouth, New Zealand was captured by iReporter JherryPhons in these images. More than 70 drivers and co-drivers took part in the event, cheered on by more than 1,000 fans. "The combination of the roaring sound, the mud flying everywhere and people cheering was one of my favorite parts of the race," he said.

    These photos of a high-octane four-wheel-drive offroad vehicle competition were captured on October 2011 in New Plymouth, New Zealand . This event was a non-stop action and was attended by more than a thousand fans.
