Wonderful lives of men’s ordination.
Wonderful lives of men’s ordination.
I attended the ordination ceremony at Dhammakaya temple, Pathumthani Province. There is a circumambulation around the Dhamakaya Stupa in the morning.
People who attended the ceremony have to be very early, some have to leave home before dawn in order to be on time for the ceremony that start from 6 o'clock.
All of these men from 19 countries around the world and cross countries in Thailand have come to the temple for joining the Ordination and a lot of laypeople come for this ceremony. Of course, the benefits for this ordination this time are that all the men will practice patience, correct their own shortcomings and meditate for a period of approximately three months during the rainy season, or Buddhist Lent.
I congratulated the ceremony by holding a lotus and walked circumambulate round the Stupa; The distance is nearly two miles. All the way I walked through I also prayed and placed my mind for meditation all the time. - July 21, 2012.
