Why do James Holmes-type Personalites Happen?

Why do James Holmes-type personalities come about in the U.S.? The answer to this question is very simple but also concealed in the empty collective conscious of this nation. Megalomaniac search for ‘superiority’ in this country, especially among whites (I am white also), result in a divided country and horrific acts like the one we saw in Aurora, Colorado and that we will see more of in the future, unfortunately. Our media and culture are full of encouragement for creation of such personalities and acts, including the movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ ‘Superman,’ the outfit and name James Holmes had given himself, the culture of celebrity which sets us too far apart from each other through phony fame, fortune and voice domination in the name of ‘talent’ while they are really nothing else but byproducts of the power of frequency and reach of media. What does all this portend? It means we will have a nation which is really a ‘cracked pot’ rather than melting pot as the euphemism wants to call it. It means this is a country which has foregone its ethicalness and fairness, as the great equalizers of a healthy society, in order to bring about men and women who pretend they are excelling meteorically while in reality they are showing nothing else but pretense, greed, ego and superiority complex.
