    We recently polled our VO!CE of the Region online community on the issue of gun control legislation:

    In your opinion, regarding re-opening the gun control issue in the wake of the Aurora

    shootings, is the President:
    Doing the right thing by avoiding the topic right now 21%
    Wasting an opportunity to make a case for gun control by avoiding the topic right now 19%
    Avoiding the topic because it is an election year 50%
    None of the above 7%
    I don’t have an opinion on this 1%
