    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     McGuire2001 is visiting St. Clair County, which is near Appleton City, Missouri. He says the area is suffering from an extreme drought. He captured photographs of the dried-up crops and land of the area. 'The crops are dying,' he says. 'They desperately need rain, soon.' Although he is not being directly impacted by the drought, he says his in-laws, who are farmers, are suffering because their land is drying up. 'It's a sad situation,' he says. 'It's difficult to capture with a photograph the full extent of the problems.' How is the drought affecting you? Share your images.
