    Rain in West Texas

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter BigBendDan submitted this original footage shot throughout the rural town of Alpine, Texas. He says after a long drought period, roadways and numerous low-lying areas across the city have become flooded with rainfall over the past few days.

    With numerous days of heavy rainfall, things have gotten quite extreme in West Texas. Flooding has become an issue for the small West Texas Town of Alpine, something that many people say hasn't happened in years. According to CBS 7 in Odessa, Texas, Alpine received 5" of rainfall today alone. As of now, all roads, except Fighting Buck Avenue, have been reopened.
