Inside the London 2012 Olympic Stadium: The First 'Wave'

The first dress rehearsal for the London 2012 Olympic Ceremony took place last Monday, and thousands of lucky Olympic volunteers, military families and young people were invited to attend. Here the crowd waits for the show to begin, and the footage shows a 360 degree view around the Olympic Stadium and follows the crowd’s ‘wave’ around the stadium, with approximately 50,000 spectators taking part. This was the first full ‘wave’ to take place all the way around the London 2012 Olympic Stadium in its history. To ‘save the surprise’ (#savethesurprise), we have waited to upload this footage today.
