    Olympic Superfans

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     While hunting for great images for his own personal photography project, chopsm spotted this self proclaimed Olympics "Superfan" in Islington, London and had to capture the scene. "The man fascinated me with his Team GB gear, but the boy's look to his right made me smile," he said. Although he was unable to obtain tickets for the games, our iReporter says he is very excited about the Olympics. "Just being in an Olympics host borough [Hackney] in London is very exciting, it's a great thing for the city and the UK," he said.

It's day 2 of the Olympics in London and although Britain still has no medals yet (at the time of writing) there is no lack of support from some Team GB superfans.

This superfan, decked out in full Team GB memorabilia, was showing his support in a shopping area of Islington, North London.
