Romney Relents, Will Allow Press at Fundraiser

After  a lot of self-righteous indignation by members of the media over the  campaign of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney  barring the press from a fundraiser tonight in Israel, the campaign has  relented and will allow a press pool at the event. The press will,  however, be shuttled out of the event before Romney begins a question  and answer session with the donors.

Bloggers  and some iReporters on CNN's iReport have also opined their indignation  that Romney would not allow the press to cover a fundraiser. Of course  Team Obama, the campaign to re-elect President Barack Obama, has done  the same at times.

    Will the outrage be appeased?

Will the press note how it "won" in a public relations battle with the Romney campaign?

CNN  has published a story noting that the press pool will have access.  However, on some of the morning talk shows, the word was still that the  press was barred.

From the Cornfield, just another day in politics.
