    Drought Along the Wabash River

Iohn decided to get me out of Mark's Den today. The humidity was still high, but the temperature only reached 90.

He had bought me a new digital camera/recorder on payday. We decided we would try it out and see how it works.

With the Cornfield being at the epicenter of the drought, we thought we would drive to Terre Haute 10 miles to the north and out to Fairbanks Park to see what effect the drought was having on the Wabash River.

When we arrived the water level was definitely down from where it is normally. The water usually is lapping at the ramp/walk way and up onto the rocks. Not so this Sunday evening.

Not the best of videos, but we are still getting use to how it works and what we can do with the recorder.

That's Iohn in the video. Here on iReport he is also known as tatboi43. The 43 is for the number of tattoos he has.

Next time we will have a better idea on using the new device.
