    Dust Storm Hits Phoenix Sky Harbor

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     While dropping off his wife at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, BryanSnider created this video using 694 individual frames that were taken every 3 seconds. "I saw the storm approaching so I decided to go to the terminal top parking garage to see if I could get a decent time-lapse," he says. "As I got to the top I began to quickly see the dust clouds coming over the mountains. What impressed me about this storm in particular was how strong the winds were and for how long the winds remained."

    On July 29th, 2012 Phoenix gets hit with yet another dust storm. Although this wasn't the largest dust storm Phoenix has seen this year, it definately was very impressive to see it's impact on a massive and busy airport. You will notice that despite the dust and high winds, aircraft continued to depart and arrive into the airport.
