No olympic tickets to be purchased

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Ashley Garrubbo of New Jersey traveled to London with her boyfriend for the 2012 Olympic Games. They're among thousands of puzzled spectators who have been denied the purchase of tickets despite there being a vast number of empty seats at the Games. "We were disappointed and truthfully shocked," she says. "We saved much money to come here to be a part of this worldwide testament to human strength. We really didn't think we'd show up in London not to be able to get into one Olympic event." Ashley’s boyfriend Artur Moreira is pictured holding a sign that reads, "I came from USA to see London 2012 but there are no tickets to purchase, however, seats are empty."
    - stein0726, CNN iReport producer

We came from USA to support the olympics. We tried to buy tickets in America, but the website cosport had no tickets to sell. We called the info line & we received a full voicemail box. We arrived in London &  have not been able to purchase tickets via Internet, phone or box office.

There are thousands of people shut out from the games & frustrated here in London. We are one of many. Can CNN help ? We came a long way to not be inside the Olympic park.

    Sincerely thank you
