Aurora Borealis falls into a forest.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Having grown up his entire life under the colorful ribbons that light up and dance across Northern Alberta's night sky, Kalalau123 says he has never seen this happen to a forest at 2 a.m. "I said "WOW" I have never seen the Northern Lights fall to the ground like rain. It was a light fall and it actually lit up all the trees from behind as it fell," he says. "I was traveling home late that night after a portrait session. I thought, oh my God, that is too beautiful for words. Some things that nature gives us are spectacular."
    - Anika3, CNN iReport producer

Here is a cropped version which shows the Aurora falling into a forest. That is the Northern cross on the far left in the middle.
