Weather over the Waldo Canyon Burn scar

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Shortly after KDS45 documented this ominous cloud formation accumulating over Colorado Springs, Colorado, heavy thunderstorms prompted damaging floods and mudslides. She explains that in the wake of the Waldo Canyon fire, rainfall can actually cause more harm than good to areas left charred and in desperate need of water. "In a burn area, no water is absorbed, so it runs into areas it shouldn't be,” she says.
    - stein0726, CNN iReport producer

Heavy thunderstorms are causing flooding, mud-slides and have resulted in numerous watches and warnings.
