    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     With the severe heat of the summer pressing on, McGuire2001 captured these images of the drought condition intensifying and taking its toll in St. Clair County in Missouri. "All the crops on the farms are drying up and dying," he says. "Farmers desperately need rain soon."
