Discovery lands for the final time

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Even amidst the drizzling rain showers from an approaching storm and being completely drenched, gtnoffsinger says he felt sad, but lucky to be so close up to Space shuttle Discovery. "The area is known as the "snow dump" and is a remote part of the Dulles Airport complex used to dump snow when it is collected off the runways," he says. "While other photographers milled about looking at rain puddles, I noticed one that others dismissed as too small. But by kneeling on the soaked concrete and placing the camera just outside the puddle, it worked perfectly. My chest and pants got soaked through for this shot, but it was worth it."
