    Chick-fil-A demonstrations

    Chick-fil-A in Searcy, AR

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     wneill took her daughters, ages 12 and 14, to Chick-fil-A with her today. "It was good for them to see [that] this is what it means to be an American, and we have free speech, and when we want to make a statement, we can make it," she said.
    - rachel8, CNN iReport producer

Picture smiling people packed shoulder to shoulder in a fast-food restaurant, striking up friendly conversation with the strangers beside them, handing each other napkins and condiments, some paying for the person behind them, cleaning up after themselves, and not complaining about waiting an hour for their food. Unrealistic? Well, that was the scene today at Chick-fil-A in Searcy, Arkansas, and across the nation as people flooded in to support free speech and traditional family values.
