Tripoli – Lebanon. A group of young girls and boys gathered to celebrate army day at 9:30 pm by offering sweets and Lebanese flags to passers. It’s a joint work between 2 NGOs. They were trying to promote peaceful living in the city that seems to undergo many recurrent clashes periodically. The youngsters seemed very happy doing their act, and most of the people shared with them the feeling of joy. Perhaps it was all about the smile on their faces! Photos taken on August 1, 2012.
