Aftermath of typhoon Sula in Taipei city

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Peter Chiang captured this image of uprooted trees in Taipei City after typhoon Saola swept through. "It was incredibly windy and it's still raining like crazy, as I walked down the street I had to hide behind various building structures as was I getting hit by falling stuff," he said. "Trees are uprooted everywhere here. Apart from that, in Taipei City it's largely fine but outside the city there's a lot of flooding." Residents of Taipei City, many of whom live in high rise apartment buildings, were told to prepare for the typhoon by closing all windows and doors. A clean up has not yet begun, our iReporter says, while the rain continues.
