My name is Darryl Willis and I want CNN to fly me to Tampa!
I long for someone like Barry Goldwater to step up: a small-government conservative who recognizes the need for compromise and discussion in government. I really want a cross between Goldwater and Jefferson, and the closest I've seen to that blend of classical liberalism and libertarianism is Ron Paul.
I want to help bring the Republican Party back to its roots of tolerance, liberty, and protection of the individual's rights. I want to help make the Republican Party something for which you don't have to "hold your nose" to vote.
This is set to be, possibly, the most contentious RNC in over half a century, and I want to be there to cover it when it happens.
