CNN PRODUCER NOTE While taking her girls to gymnastics, JennAshley came across this scene of a fire blazing in the heart of her town and stopped to capture these images from the northwest corner of First Street and Beaver Street in Jenks, Oklahoma, on August 2. Describing the scene as not being chaotic at all, she says temperatures in Oklahoma have been hitting over 110 degrees and that they haven't seen rain in a very long time. "Despite the firemen doing their best, the dry trees and grass literally fueled the flames it seems. The sound of the house burning was so depressing. Everyone around me just watched. We were all glad that no one was hurt in the fire and everyone got out safely," she says. "I was just amazed at how fast the fire took over. And the firemen were getting so hot that they would walk over to the truck and collapse on their hands and knees. Two other crew men took off their air tanks and coats, and one fireman rolled on his back as they poured water on him."
