    "Daughter's" Birthday

    I just started dating someone I work with, and we have been exclusive for no more than two weeks.

     

    I put flowers on her desk at work early yesterday morning with a note that read "I need a favor" and when she came by my desk I told her to sit down, and said the following:

     

     

    "This may come as a shock to you, but I have a daughter... I had her in high school when i was 17 (I am 21 now) and now she lives with her maternal grandparents... I am having a birthday party at my apartment tonight for her and I'd love for you to be there..."

     

     

    Suprisingly she said she would and so I didn't blurt out april fools then. She came to my apartment only to have me there to say April Fools, I felt bad because she actually got my fake daughter a gift...
