    American Dream in Charlotte

    I am interested in seeing first hand the unity of all people regardless of race and gender working together to find solutions to maintain the American Dream for all. I am an African American, and my fore fathers fought and died to participate in the American Dream. The DNC will allow me to represent the millions who never had this opportunity. I will talk to people from different states to determine how their dreams can be met by the Democratic agenda. I will contribute to the conversation and come back equipped to intelligently discuss the issues and represent the Democratic values in the process. I hope that I will be objective in my discourse and willing to listen to other points of view. Yes, the convention will be fun, however it is more important to contribute and then share the experience with others when I return home. My experience should ripple across my community like a pebble in a pond. Others should feel like they were at the convention by the report I give. Thank you for the opportunity to be a voice, and eyes for others that will not have the opportunity to attend the convention -- atleast if you accept me.
