    Hello CNN,


    My name is Zeke Chavez, and I am from the great state of New Mexico. I am 19, and a young new voter who will be voting for the first time in a presidential election. As a young person, I took a deep interest into politics at a young age. This is a critical time in our country's history, as we are more polarized than since the time of the Civil War. With my generation reaching the beginning of adulthood, we need to make sure that we as young Americans we understand and know the process to bring about real change in this country. I would love the opportunity to attend the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.
