    NBC Coverage

@NBCOlympics: NBC television coverage of the premier track and field events is a classic reason why monopoly is a "Public Evil", that should be eradicated, uprooted and utterly destroyed wherever it exist. NBC broadcast the 10,000M men final live but decided to delay the broadcast of the women 100M final for over four hours, by this time the rest of the world have seen it live and American public who have no access to live streaming on computers or smart phones have to hear the results from their friends and relatives abroad or those who have access to live streams in the USA.

NBC coverage of the 2008 olympics was bias and selective that came under much criticism, yet NBC has not learned from that experience. The olympic committee should abandon the exclusive rights (monopoly) and let the broadcast be for the public good.

I predict NBC is going to do the same delayed broadcast of the men 100M semi-final and final.

After the olympics are over, NBC rating will go back down to the pit where it belong
