    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DocIcenogle says a strong storm system swept through her area of Murphysboro, Illinois on August 4. He says the storm lasted four hours, and there was a maximum wind gust of 50 mph at some point during the storm. He says there was also so power outages from the fallen trees in the area. But when the storm passed, he noticed that the water receded very quickly. 'It was a fantastic night for a lightning enthusiast that loves a lightning show and is not afraid to watch it,' he says.
