    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     dpetroni1 was in Weston, Florida, when he saw a large storm system approaching. He says the storm on August 5, looked like it was approaching from the Everglades area. 'The sky had an eerie glow to it, and the bands of dark clouds reminded me of the many hurricanes and tropical storms I've been in.' he says.

    Just left the downtown Fort Lauderdale area heading west. As soon i was approaching the Weston area, this is the storm that was awaiting me! Reminded me of tropical storm bands..
