    Olympic nail art

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ggmedina3241, 19, even painted her toes to match. She likes doing nail art for various holidays -- her last project was red, white and blue cheetah print for July 4. 'You have to have a steady hand,' she says. Appropriately, the college student says she aspires to be a surgeon.

    For the 2012 Olympics, I hand painted my nails to show my love and support for team USA! I am wearing the solid gold on my index finger, to show that USA is number one, whether or not we win the gold. On my middle finger and thumb, I am wearing the American flag and USA because this is the team I am cheering on. Plus i love giving USA a thumbs up! On my ring finger I have the Great Britain flag to show where the 2012 Olympics are taking place. Lastly, on my ring finger I have the symbolic Olympic rings. Watching the Olympics is so exciting i love cheering on my team! I am truly proud to be an American and this is how i show it!
