    Olympic Nail Art

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Nail artist Claire Leech lives in Essex, England, and is training to become a nail technician. She painted these Olympic designs for a nail competition, using a lifelike plastic hand that she practices on.

Here, she explains her design: 'On the first nail I hand painted Big Ben, as it is an iconic attraction to London. I tried to add as much detail as possible whilst trying to fit it in a small area. The next nail I painted was the torch as it is a main focus to the entire Olympics, not just 2012. The third was the the word 'London' made up of '2012'. I got the idea for this from an image I found on the Internet. To tie these three nails together I used the colours from the Olympics rings and painted ribbons through the background.'
