    Travel snapshots: Otherworldly landscapes

    Who left this behind?

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     sarhinreese snapped this image while lying down in the salty dirt of the Etosha Pan, a flat saline desert in the middle of the Etosha National Park. 'The rocks were maybe a foot tall. There are no other rocks near this small stack. It was really odd to see them is this otherwise empty space,' she said. She visited the park on her honeymoon in November 2010 and the whole time, 'I was saying this experience on the pan was going to be as close to the moon as I was ever going to be.'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

A traveler can't help but feel they are with others, despite being in the second least populated country in the world, when coming upon these small rock formations in Namibia's Etosha Pan.
