This iReport is part of an assignment:
Sound-off |
- “Why USC and not a black college, Dr. Dre?”, More Likely, Why Should Dr. Dre do this when the Traditional Black colleges have failed?
- Both Candidates for Mayor of Los Angeles Wendy Greuel and Eric Garcetti have the Endorcement of Past and Present Black Elected Leaders who are deceitful, hypocrites, and most of all a disgrace to the essence of what it means to be elected officials!
- The Only Individuals Fooled by Obama are Morehouse College Graduates and Other Uniformed Individuals who Respect this Charlatan. President Barack Obama is a liar and a disgrace to the Office of the Presidency!
- Unlike far too many U.S. born Black leaders or other prominent Blacks, other ethnic groups are less likely to betray his or her own community, heritage, trash a career, or be so un-American, deceitful, dysfunctional, and/or treasonous!
- Makia Smith you definitely have more sense than many Black elected officials, black lawyers, multiple members of the Congressional Black Caucus, many Black police officers, and misguided Black nationalists!
In Many Instances it is Agents and Officials of Government Who have been Criminal or Unethical and not the Actual Black Men, Women, or Siblings Jailed, Fined, Violated or Victimized by Serious Wrongs of Government!

"How is that a failure of black leadership? It sounds more like a failure of the black community. How is the breakup of the black family unit a problem of black leadershipor heck how is it even the fault of anyone? That is a problem in the black community. It is the black women who choose to sleep with shaddy black men who end up leaving them. That is a failure in the black community not its leaders or any other group. The reason why blacks have not succeded in this country is because as a group they have too much pride in all the wrong areas. They value the thug mentality over education. Look, I agree that black leaders have failed blacks. But at some level blacks have to take responsibility for their own failures. Black leaders shouldnt have to go door to door, reminding the black youth to stay clear of gangs and drugs and to respect women. That is not a failure of leadership, that is a failure of the community." by petej0

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-823707
When an elected black leader, such as Councilman Herb Wesson et al effects a citizen's arrest against any constituent in his district who petition him for redress for a legitimate grievance that is indeed a "disgraceful act", and a failure on the part of an elected official to uphold his sworn oath to respect the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, etc., etc.
http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-800575
http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-806435
When an elected official such as Congresswoman Maxine Waters is petitioned by a constituent for similar wrongdoing on the part of government and she in turn states, "See me after the meeting", a meeting that never takes place because she had no intention of following through in first place, which means Maxine Waters is a hypocrit, a liar, sleazy, and disgraceful. Maxine "Kerosene" Waters like BO and others are truly disgraceful.

This would indeed be a serious issue should an honorably discharged disabled draftee WWII Veteran such as Leon E. Lofton, Jr., petition his or her elected official regarding his family being broken up without cause for profit by inept no good black social workers and probation officers. President Barack Obama and other misfit elected black leaders are bending over backwards to bypass Congress and the U.S. Constitution to pass the "Dream Act" for felonious and criminal illegal immigrants to keep illegal immigrant families together.......yet President Barack Obama, and multiple members of the Congressional Black Clueless ignore or trash petitions from law abiding U.S. born black men and women with legitimate grievances, which is indeed again un-American and disgraceful.
3. "It is the black women who choose to sleep with shady black men who end up leaving them. That is a failure in the black community not its leaders or any other group." petej0

That is true in some cases, but not in this case. The " Baby Daddy & Mama Ghetto Syndrome" sleeping and shacking with multiple women or abandoning his or her offspring" never happened in this particular black family, because both of my parents stuck it out through "thick and thin", which is also court documented. I come from a two parent family, both of my parents are university educated. My Dad is an honorably discharged draftee and "purple heart" recipient combat WWII Veteran. Neither of my parents or their offspring have any interest in applying for, or being on welfare. None of my family members have been found to be criminal or insane in any court jurisdiction, yet my parents, other siblings and/or I have been jailed without cause all while so called elected black leaders remain silent, when petitioned for redress for the atrocities of a government seriously gone awry in the County of Los Angeles, the State of California. This activity is also court documented by Los Angeles Superior Court case 895188, BC385899, and other documents.

You have fallen in your own web of foolishness because to blanket all U.S. born blacks who end up being jailed/imprisoned/ maimed/killed after being egregiously violated by government as being thugs, uneducated, heading in the wrong direction does not apply in this instance and other situations.
http://www.innocenceproject.org/about/
http://www.innocenceproject.org/know/Browse-Profiles.php
The "Innocence Project" and DNA evidence have freed numerous black men wrongfully convicted, punished, some within weeks of being executed on "Death Row". Here again, elected black leaders.....U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas being one of multiple individuals, who should have been the first to step up to the plate, either ignored these atrocities, remain silent, publish falsehoods, make excuses to do nothing, delegate his or her duty to function to Reverend Al Sharpton, deny redress in behalf of law abiding black men so violated, and/or conspire with rogue police officers or overzealous prosecutors to further oppress law abiding and proven innocent black men, women, and/or his or her siblings, violated by a government seriously gone awry.

Although true in some instances, the failure here has more to do with dysfunctional "public servants" and not U.S. born black men, women, and/or his or siblings victimized by the wrongs of government itself.
6. "Black leaders shouldn't have to go door to door, reminding the black youth to stay clear of gangs and drugs and to respect women. That is not a failure of leadership, that is a failure of the community." petej0
http://www.ceyseau.net/files/Job_of_All_Elected_Officials_for_posting.pdf
It is not an elected official's primary function or responsibility to go door to door to remind anyone to stay clear of drugs, gangs, and/or to respect women. Self respect, a little common sense and respect for the property rights of others should be sufficient to guide anyone to stay clear of drugs, gangs, and/or respect the rights of other individuals, be the individual a man, woman, or child.
http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-182700
http://www.ceyseau.net/IneptElectedOfficials.html
The primary duty of any elected official is to uphold his or her oath of office to respect the principles to which this nation stands, namely the U.S. Constitution, a respective State Constitution, which are indeed attributes in an elected official that do not exist with President Barack Obama, multiple members of the Congressional Black Clueless, etc., etc.
7. "You give numerous examples of individuals being wronged, by politicians, law enforcement and government. I am not talking about individuals, I am talking about the "Black Community" as a whole as you imply in your title. You imply "Black Community" has not advanced because of failed black leadership. No, it is blacks who continually look outward for leadership instead of looking inward for guidance. It isn't bad leadership, it is laziness. It isn't bad leadership, it is the embrace of thug mentality. It isn't bad leadership, it is too much DEPENDENCE, and not enough self reliance.." by petej0
...well petej0
Are you a citizen? If not then it is a waste of my valuable time responding to you regarding bad leadership in an elected official.
If you are a citizen, who places little value in the principles of government and the function of an elected official to uphold his or her oath of office to serve a community, the community in this instance being law abiding U.S. born descendants of slavery violated by the atrocities of government, then again it is a waste of my valuable time responding to you regarding bad leadership in an elected official.

Any U.S. citizen who pays property taxes or other State and Federal taxes, any U.S. citizen who has served this nation honorably during a time of war, has earned the right to be competently represented by his or her local, county, city, State, and/or Federal elected representative, which is especially true when any public servant, elected official, etc., etc., violates the law or unlawfully infringes upon the property rights/Constitutional rights of a law abiding U.S. citizen. Otherwise to be forced to pay taxes, or to serve this nation honorably to be denied competent representation amounts to "Taxation without Competent Representation".
8. "Explain to me why that has anything to do with blacks have a 85+% rate of marriage up until 1930, at which point it has dwindled to 30% today." by petej0
I don't have to explain, expand upon, debate, answer this because the reasons, supportive evidence, the very nature of this topic, "More So Than Racism by Caucasians, Hispanics, Jews, Arabs, etc., etc., The Greatest Deterrent to the Advancement of U.S. born blacks and also black Africa, is in Fact an Inept Black or African Leadership" is not targeting dysfunctional black marriages, etc., etc., as being the cause of the downfall of the black community. Now if this is your concern, then you should start a topic that relates to decaying black marriages and the connection to the demise of the black community to explain and support your own views, beliefs, etc.,etc.
9. "Foolishness, Really? I have never been arrested, never been accused of illegal acts. Is that because I steered clear of bad situations or because I was just lucky? Come on man. If you hang around with criminals and thugs it is inevitable you will run foul with law enforcement. DESPITE the fact that you are not doing anything illegal." by petej0

I'm willing to bet that you have never been in a situation where you have been falsely accused and subsequently jailed, fined, and/or both, and in this instance even the court system wanted no part of the wrongful acts of Councilman Herb Wesson in that there was no court arraignment or court proceeding to hold the accuser accountable to his wrong actions…… like what commonly occurs in the lives of numerous black men and women, who have no criminal history, no connection to any gang member, street thug, terrorist organization, Acorn, subversive organization, etc., etc., but who end up being arrested, jailed, maimed, or even killed/executed due to the perjured testimony from a police officer, an unreliable witness, an incompetent jury, a blatantly unfair court trial, incompetent legal representation, etc., etc.,…..…….. i.e., it would not be alarming in the least that you would not get the drift.

I have given numerous proven examples, some involving experiences I have had, or the experiences of other family members, in addition to the factual experiences of other reputable individuals to make the claim that ""More So Than Racism by Caucasians, Hispanics, Jews, Arabs, etc., etc., The Greatest Deterrent to the Advancement of U.S. born blacks and also black Africa, is in Fact an Inept Black or African Leadership"!"
I don't have to explain, expand upon, debate, answer your contention that "blacks who continually look outward for leadership instead of looking inward for guidance" because the reasons, the supportive evidence, the very nature of any topic that I have posted or intend to post:
http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-182700

……. is about the importance of all elected representatives to uphold his or her oath of office to competently serve law abiding U.S. born descendants of slavery egregiously violated by government, intelligent voters voting for ethical and functional elected officials, the especially the U.S. born black voting electorate, being responsible by holding his or her elected official accountable to the oath of office to serve all U.S. citizens, U.S. born descendants of slavery being inclusive, and legal immigrants.
Finally……
Lies Don't Keep Us Safe. Keeping Us Safe Requires Respect for the Rule of Law and the Constitution. The government's argument is untenable. “The government cannot, under any circumstance, affirmatively mislead the court” by U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney
"Insisting on honesty as the only policy, the supreme ruled Wednesday that public employees can be punished for lying, even when they merely deny an accusation that later turns out to be true”.
“ …….Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist. 'An employee who is asked about possible wrongdoing has only two legal choices: Tell the truth or say nothing”. (LA Times, January 22, 1998.)
........"Tell the Truth or Say Nothing" also applies to any U.S. President, Congressional office holder, U.S. Supreme Court Justice, U.S. Attorney General, court official, court clerk, Deputy City Attorney, Judge, elected official, lawyer, journalist, etc.
