CNN PRODUCER NOTE     After a successful deployment, loved ones welcomed home the helicopter squadron the "Golden Falcons," on August 9 at Naval Air Station North Island. tonyperri captured moments from the emotional homecoming on video and says he was thrilled to be able to join the Golden Falcons and their families on this special day. "The scene was exhilarating. The wives, husbands, children and parents were very excited about the homecoming. People waved flags, held signs and waved as the helicopters came in for a landing," he says. "I got emotional myself at times knowing the Falcons had been gone for eight months and this was the first they were to see their loved ones."
