    Lifesaving Western Province Junior and Senior Championships held in Cape Town earlier this year. 9 Teams competed in this grueling two day event with competitors facing icy swimming conditions with water temperatures around 12-14degrees Celsius. The winning team will go on to compete at the National Championships. Teams compete in several events including beach sprints, beach relay and flags, surf ski, surf boat rescue and swimming.
