    Drought in the Cornfield

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     k3vsDad was driving between Shelburn and Farmersburg, Indiana, when he captured video of the widespread drought in his area. He says his county is currently classified as an exceptional drought area. Besides the drying and dying crops, he says food prices are rising as well. Farmers are also selling off their livestock because of the lack of food. 'One farmer down the road Friday, was reaping the dried up stalks with hopes of making it into fodder or feed for some cattle, but the corn itself never produced. People are just shaking their heads and wondering how they are going to make ends meet when the full effects of the drought start hitting the wallet very hard,' he says. 'In my nearly six decades of life, this is the worst drought I have ever seen or lived through.'
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Iohn and I had to go to the grocery store today. As we came back I decided to see if I could do a video capture of the devastation.
